Get Moving with Adam Welcome

Get Moving with Adam Welcome

In this episode, popular author and keynote speaker Adam Welcome provides inspiration for a new school year and encourages educators to "get moving" and let the creative juices flow with laser focus and more clarity than ever before. From time management skills to tips on how to become more disciplined, Welcome reflects on his past experience as a teacher, principal and Director of Innovation and how his deep dive approach to leadership moves beyond surface-level thinking to find greater balance for educators to learn, grow and connect this school year. Welcome also talks about his new book, Empower Our Girls: Opening the Door for Girls to Achieve More with co-author Lynn Colón, and says that one of his priorities for 2019-20 is to help school districts with technology integration that should include less focus on devices and networks and more time spent using free digital tools for coding, podcasting and video production. With this episode, Adam announced the launch of the #RunWithAdam hashtag on social media to encourage educators to meet up with him at his various stops to run and share inspiring stories related to school success.
