Jen Owen - Founder of Co-CreatED: A Professional Marketplace - 357

Jen Owen talks with me about her professional development marketplace: Co-CreatED. This is episode 357 of Teaching Learning Leading K12, an audio podcast.

Jen Owen was put on this planet to be a bridge builder. She loves connecting people and bringing people together, especially in ways that break down silos or span the differences that divide us. It was this purpose, combined with her experience as an educator and passion for educational equity, that led to the founding of Co-CreatED.

Jen holds an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership & a M.Ed. in Urban Teacher Leadership from Georgia State University, and a B.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Georgia. Throughout her 12 years in the education field so far, she’s had the honor of serving as a teacher, school leader, a founding member of a school start-up team, and a professional development training provider. Her experience spans public and private schools, general and special education, both locally and abroad, and across a spectrum of ability, SES, race & culture.

Co-CreatED is the 1st & only professional development marketplace. The platform is transforming professional development by making quality transparent, amplifying teacher voice, and simplifying connection between providers and schools.
